Dabindu Collective conducted an awareness program about the Labour Law for Apparel Sector workers who are working in Vavuniya and Kilinochchi on the 2nd of July 2023 at Friends Inn Hotel, Kilinochchi. The program was hosted by Swasthika Arulingam attorney at law. In this training, we were able to discuss workplace issues via group work. They are Food IssueHarassments, Salary problems, Washroom problems, Target pressure, Right base issues Etc. The workers opened up and shared the issues and they actively participated in the training session. Finally, they also accepted to protect their rights while doing the protest.
