We are proud to share that Ms. Chamila Thushari, Executive Director of Dabindu Collective, participated as a speaker at the session “Organizing Beyond the Factory Gate: Community-Based Monitoring, Worker Voice and Access to Remedy in Garment Supply Chains.”
The session, held on 16 September 2026 in Bangkok, provided an important platform to discuss how workers and communities can strengthen their voices, monitor labour rights issues, and improve access to effective remedy across garment supply chains.
Drawing from Dabindu Collective’s grassroots experience, Ms. Chamila Thushari shared perspectives on the realities faced by garment workers and the importance of worker participation, collective action, community engagement, and meaningful access to justice and remedy.
