In order to address ground-level issues related to sexual and reproductive health, several civil society organizations came together to form a network named Community Voices for Reproductive Rights (CVRR).
Under this initiative, one of the programs implemented was a community awareness and prevention program held on September 22, 2025, from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM at Dalupatha, Negombo, as a step towards strengthening community voices.
The program was organized and facilitated by the Community Brotherhood Organization, with women community leaders as the primary target group for this awareness session. This discussion formed an essential part of the Dabindu Collective project, which focuses on uplifting the sexual and reproductive health rights and dignity of women garment workers in Sri Lanka.
