To address grassroots issues related to Sexual and Reproductive Health, Community Voices for Reproductive Rights (CVRR) conducted an awareness session for the FTZ community with Stand Up Movement Lanka, as part of a project implemented by Dabindu Collective. The session, held on the 2nd of November 2025 at Solidarity Bridge, SUML, focused on sexuality, reproductive health, and identifying community concerns. 20 workers joined this discussion, and it was facilitated by Thileesha Deshani and Sihina Thenuwara.
This initiative is part of the project “Advocating for the Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights and Decent Work of Women Workers in Sri Lanka’s Garment Sector.”
ලිංගික හා ප්‍රජනන සෞඛ්‍ය පිළිබඳව බිම් මට්ටමේ ඇති ගැටලු ආවරණය කිරීමේ අරමුණින් Community Voices for Reproductive Rights(CVRR) නමින් සිවිල් සමාජ සංවිධාන කිහිපයක් ජාලගත වූ අතර මෙහි දී ඩාබිඳු සාමුහිකය විසින් ක්‍රියාත්මක කරනු ලබන ව්‍යාපෘතිය හරහා Stand Up Movement Lanka ආයතනය මගින් FTZ ප්‍රජාව සදහා ලිංගිකත්වය හා ප්‍රජනන සෞඛ්‍ය පිලිබද දැනුවත් කිරීම හා ඔවුනට ඇති ගැටලු පිලිබද දැනුවත් කිරීමේ වැඩසටහනක් 2025.11.02 දින Standup Movement Lanka අයතනයේ Solidarity Bridgeහී දී පැවැත්විය.
මේ සදහා සම්පත් දායකත්වය එම ආයතනයේ සිහින තිලීශා දේශානි සහ සිහින තෙනුවර ලබා දුන් අතර එම වැඩසටහනට තෝරාගත් වැඩකරුවන් 20දෙනෙක් සහභාගි විය. මෙම සාකච්ඡාව, ශ්‍රී ලංකා ඇඟලුම් ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ කම්කරු කාන්තාවන්ගේ ලිංගික හා ප්‍රජනන සෞඛ්‍ය අයිතීන් සහ ගෞරවාන්විත රැකියා වෙනුවෙන් උද්දේශනය කිරීම යන ව්‍යාපෘතියේ කොටසකි.
