In order to address grassroots issues related to sexual and reproductive health, several civil society organizations networked under Community Voices for Reproductive Rights (CVRR). Under this network, Dabindu in collaboration with our implementing partner Citizens Committee for Human Rights, a special awareness program was successfully held on the 28th September 2025 at the Visakawatta Community Hall.
During this program, a community awareness session was conducted as a step to strengthen community voices through the advocacy of sexual and reproductive health rights. Both elderly women and a youth group aged 12 and above participated in the session. A notable feature of the program was that the trained group contributed resources to facilitate the event.
